After our opening ceremony and Keynote Speaker’s J.T. Gatto’s presentation, we’ll have an amazing Winter Carnival!  There will be lots of carnival games of luck and skill, face & hair painting, stage for ongoing comical / musical acts and even a dunking tank!

There will also be food concessions that includes pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, popcorn,  etc..  along with drinks, available to purchase.  Guaranteed to be fun for all and hopefully a great way to meet and mingle with others!

For prizes, please bring a bag(s) of stuffed animals, small trinkets and/or toys that your children have outgrown or just don't play with anymore. The donation of these for our prize table, will greatly help our UWWG, along with helping families clean out their clutter!

Also, LOTS of volunteers are needed to make this event work.  We need volunteers to help with setting-up, manning the 25 or so game & ticket booths and clean-up.  If you, your teen, or any member of your family can help, PLEASE contact Dennis at: wolfdw1968@aol.com

Fairy Godparent’s

  Organized by Heather Burditt

Monday 4 - 6 pm & 7:30 – 8pm  Sign-ups

Monday 8 -8:30   Name Drawing

(event then continues through-out the week)

Fairy Godparent’s is a game played for the duration of the conference.  It’s a chance to make the conference a little magical!

Each person who wants to participate will write their name and information on a slip of paper or on the back of their picture, and place it into a bucket.  Later, each person who placed their name in the bucket will draw a name that isn’t their own.  That is your FairyGodchild.

Once you have his/her name, spend the week making your Fairy Godchild feel special.  You can write him a letter, have someone give her a hug, give him some arcade tokens, get her some candy from the candy shop, make a sign saying how wonderful he is.  The ideas are endless!  Becreative.  But don’t give away your identity!

Sign-ups will be Monday from 4 - 6 pm and then shortly again Monday from 7:30 – 8pm at our Registration Table.

Name drawing will be Monday from 8:00 – 8:30 pm at our carnival registration table.

The game is for ANYONE regardless of age!  Parents can help the younger children fulfill their duties.

We request each participant to please bring a 4 X 6 photo of themselves.  We will then paste their info. on the back of the photo to be drawn, to help Godparents know who their new  Godchild is.

Must be attending UWWGfrom Monday until at least Thursday.

We will also have a designated area in our conference area where items can be placed throughout the week, for one’s Godchild.
