COORDINATORS ==================================== Carol Reinhard UWWG Coordinator
Carol lives in Sandusky, Ohio with her husband, Chris, and two inquisitive unschooled daughters, ages 11 and 9. Out of desperation for wanting to be with other less “school at home” homeschoolers, she helped form a secular, relaxed homeschooling group in her area. Following that, she found herself organizing a statewide unschooling camp-out, which then led to organizing the Unschoolers Winter Waterpark Gatherings. In her previous life (before kids), Carol started off as a high school science teacher, and then went into scientific equipment sales. While in her mid 20’s, she decided to uproot and backpack through New Zealand and Australia for three months. That adventure led to an on and off lifestyle of backpacking the world for seven years, traveling through over 40 countries and 6 continents. She bumped into an old school friend between her travels, who decided to uproot and join her in her overseas adventures. They eventually married and finally, in their mid - 30’s, decided to settle down and start a family in northern Ohio, near where they both grew-up.
Kimberly Conti Presenter/ Speakers Coordinator
 Kimberly lives and plays in Seven Hills, Ohio with her (supportive and patient) husband, John, and her seven energetic children ranging from 5-27 years of age, five of which still live at home. When she has spare time ???, her interests include alternative healing & medicine, global ecology, sustainable living, renewable energy, organic gardening and the study of world history and cultures.
Kim Lowery Funshop Coordinator Kim was born and raised in Girard, Ohio . She ventured off to Southern California for several years before moving back to northeast Ohio after the birth of her first daughter. Now with 3 beautiful daughters, Kim is a single unschooling mom. With a wide range of interests, Kim has been a market gardener, avid gardener, soapmaker, bellydance instructor and most recently a licensed massage therapist. She also enjoys traveling with her kids as often as possible.
Dennis Wolf Special Events Coordinator Dennis and his wife Rena are in the process of moving from Fremont, Ohio to Jacksonville, Florida. They have 4 children ranging in age from 18 - 6. He has been homeschooling his children for the past 5 years now. In what little spare time he has he enjoys photography, gaming, and spending time with his family.
Dennis is in charge of coordinating all our main events, including our Winter Carnival, Talent Show, Movie Night, and our All Family Ballroom Dance (of which he'll be back by popular demand as our dance D.J.!) |
